With the warm months coming in it’s good to remember sunscreen. The sky may be cloudy, but UV rays can still get through. Skin cancer is a serious problem, so try to remember to keep safe by using these guidelines:
1. Seek shade
2. Wear sun protective clothing that covers as much of your body as possible
3. Wear a broad-brimmed hat that shades your face, neck and ears
4. Wear wrap-around sunglasses
5. Apply SPF30+ broad spectrum water resistant sunscreen every two hours.
It’s not just elderly people that can get skin cancer. Most wrinkles, crows feet and other marks of aging can be because of lots of exposure to the sun without protection when you are young (10-18). For more information go to:
