Siana, That looks like it is inside a store. When I go on a ferris wheel I like the going up but I’m not so keen as it comes back down. The views from the top are always great. Thanks for adding to our BIG collection.
I like your picture of the shoe and Mr. Weir. It is very cool. Did you go there for a fild trip? Or did Mr. Weir take it when he was at the shoe store?
Kate, I found this very large show in a Department Store in Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria, here in Australia. Sadly I was not able to find the person the shoes belonged to !!
Wow! Those are some big shoes! I wouldn’t walk to walk in those guys all day. Sore feet! My students and I had fun trying to find photos of large things to show you. Thanks!

Tina, It has been great receiving so many BIG things from the students. It certainly has started a real interest here in Tasmania and we all look forward to more examples over the next 10 days. Loving the blogging between our schools, thanks for having us as a partner.
G’day Mr Weir and class,
Do you know there are over 150 BIG tourist attractions in Australia? Here is a link to an article in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia%27s_big_things If you wanted to visit each one of these, how far would you travel around Australia? Maybe you could add them all to a Google map, then work out the distance.

Hi Friends!
Our area was hit by Hurricane Sandy. We are out of school all week. Check out this blog post to see photos. Happy Halloween!
