More BIG things
Cherries are grown in Tasmania and many are exported to mainland Australia and into South East Asia. Given the size of our cherries it’s easy to see why people love them !!!
It’s time for the BIG things again !
Hello there. Last year Grade 4Weir shared many BIG things from around Australia. Today’s blog shares a number of BIG things from around Tasmania. Grade 4 Weir would love to see any BIG things from where you live.

Mr Weir’s 3/4 class are heavy hearted to hear of the latest shooting in the USA. Many of the class have younger brothers and sisters of similiar age to those shot. This Christmas will be a little different for so many and it is our wish that our message of peace and goodwill will bring some comfort and hope to those left to endure the saddness of the moment.

Christmas
Hi,
It is almost Christmas Day! We are so excited here at Glen Dhu. At home we have a Christmas tree up, we have presants under the tree and we have our advent calanders. What are you doing for Christmas? Are you heading down the coast or just staying at home for the day? I know what I will be doing. I will be having fun in the sun!
This also means it is near the end of the school year. Do you know what class or grade you’re in next year? Do you know if you’re moving away or staying? Tell me at the comment board.
Until next time, Mia
