Welcome to the new year in grade 4/5. Miss O’Toole and Mrs Hameed are looking forward to an exciting and challenging year!
Blogging will be a new tool we will be using throughout the year. We can talk to people all over the world and they can leave us comments. Last year, Mrs Hameed’s class heard from the author Andy Griffiths after a student wrote a post about his favourite author. The students were all very excited!
During the holidays both teachers went to Melbourne and co-incidentally, went to the Australian Open tennis. Mrs Hameed’s daughter had to hold her mother back because she was so excited to stand next to one of her tennis heroes – Evonne Goolagong-Cawley.
Miss O’Toole went to the state theatre to see the London based production of ”War Horse” (brought to Melbourne) which is based on a book written by Michael Morpurgo. You may have seen the movie produced by Steven Spielberg.

The highlight of my hoilday was going to grindlewald. It is really fun they have a big jumping pillow that is soooooooo fun they have a pool and a mini golf that is so fun and I had a great time I can not wait to go there again!!!!:)
I also had my birthday and my party now I can’t wait for Easter

I think the highlight of my holiday was 2 things. The first
