Mrs H in Hospital

Hello everyone, I have had my operation and I am at home resting and getting better. Pink Bear came with me to keep me company. Here is Pink Bear on my hospital bed and sitting on the special hospital chair. Can you see the remote control on the chair. It is as big as Pink Bear! Pink Bear was trying to make the chair recline so she could relax. You might like to write a comment to tell me something that you have been doing.  I hope to visit you after Easter. Love Mrs H x

What Makes 10?

It is important to know all about 10. We have been learning different ways of making 10 using our ten frames. Some children have been working on making rainbow pictures to show the “Friends of Ten”.

I PICK good fit books

We have been talking about how to choose a book that is a good fit for us.

Here are the rules for I PICK good fit books.

I  – I choose a book

P – Purpose – Why do I want to read it?

I – Interest – Does it interest me?

C – Comprehension – Am I understanding what I am reading?

K – Know  - I know most of the words

 

We will let you know about some good fit books that we have chosen in a later post.

Summer fun…

Well everyone, we are finally back at school after a long, hot summer.

I would like you to meet Bentley. He is our new class puppy and just have a look at what he has been up to over the summer!

Bike riding, boogie boarding, playing Chinese Checkers and even getting a massage on a special chair at a holiday house.

He has been very busy.  I hope you have been busy too and have been having lots of fun times with your family.
