Everyone in our class has lots of connections to people and places all over Australia and in other parts of the world.
I would like you to put a comment on the blog telling our class what connections you have.

Bundaberg Queensland
I have a connection to Bundaberg because my mum was was born there. I was thinking about Bundeberg recently because my mum had a cousin who lost many of her possessions in the January floods.

Its Sally Amy’s sister (I am connected to Western Australia Mandurah, 1hour away from Perth were Amy’s cousins live. I’m connected to Mandurah because my mum and brothers, sisters live there. I am moving there tomorrow on the 23rd.

I am connected to Darwin and Adelaide because Mum used to teach there when she was young. Before that Mum was in the Army in Wagga Wagga NSW. I am also connected to Sydney because I visited Sydney when my Uncle got married. I loved the zoo. I am also connected to Phillip Island because I have visited there and my Poppy is there at the moment. He is travelling around Australia in a caravan. They have really cute Fairy Penguins there. Has any one else seen a Fairy Penguin before?

I am connected to gold coast in Queensland because my cousins live there and I’ve only seen them once and I didn’t even know them. My auntie and uncle that live up there are my dad’s auntie and ancle.

I am connected to Malaysia because I traveled there with my parents and my brother, Hamish. It took hours to get there. One night we saw millions of fireflies at night as we rode on a big boat, one landed on me, they are so bright. We also saw lots of monkeys, we saw orangutans as we walked the the wild. One of the orangutans came down from the tree and stood right in front of us! It then climbed on Hamish’s leg and just hung on his leg for a little while. Did anyone else see some swaying moneys?

That would have been such a fantastic experience. Malaysia is an interesting country. I would love to see orangutans in the wild one day.

Once mum and I went to the Melbourne Zoo and saw a baby monkey it was so cute! My favourite out of all of the animals was the elephants or lions.It was so fun I want to live there because it’s that good!I LOVE MONKEYS!Has anyone else ever gone to the Melbourne Zoo, and what was your favouite animal

Im connected to south Australia aderlade because my step Dad was born there in queens Elizerbeths hospital and some of my uncles and great Aunts live there. im also connected to western Australia because my step Dad always go there to works for months in Perth.
