Welcome to our class and our classroom blog.
I have been busy learning about how to make and maintain a blog for our classroom. I will be using it to give you great websites to use, to set work for you to complete and to give you a chance to give comments on things I find interesting or thought provoking.
I am really happy to have this opportunity to work with you all and find out more about you and your passions and interests.
To get you started, I will tell you about my life and interests.
I have a husband and two daughters (and a dog). My daughters are in their twenties and live in Melbourne, so I usually see them about four times a year. I keep in touch using email, phone calls, SMS and Facetime. I have also joined Facebook to help keep in touch.

I love to garden – especially in my vegetable garden. I love growing all my food and I rarely buy vegies.
I also love to cook. At the moment I am cooking Moroccan and French food a lot, as I am travelling to Morocco in October, and I went to France in 2011.
