Wow, what a busy week it has been! Mrs Westthorp is super impressed with the Grade 4/5 team! This is what we have been up to in the first week…
Wednesday – Our first day of school in the actual classroom. Woo Hoo! We spent the morning looking around the school and checking out all the classrooms.
Thursday – We got to know each other a little more and talked about “what makes our class a happy place?”
Friday – The Tasmanian Premier Lara Giddings came to our school for a visit. She spent a few minutes in our classroom talking to the students. Some of us even made it on the news that night!

I visited today and saw some of the great things you mentioned that makes your class a happy place.
Your school is looking fantastic even though it is only temporary. New chairs and desks and lots of wall space and windows to put up displays.
